MT. RAINIER WEDDING: A FORESTED FIRST LOOK
A PICTURESQUE MT. RAINIER WEDDING CEREMONY BY AN ALPINE LAKE
After the first look, the whole group piled into their cars and drove about 30 minutes up to the wedding ceremony location. Driving distances like this isn’t uncommon when eloping or getting married in Mt. Rainier National Park. The park is just so big and there so many cool places to see all over it. But the views that you’re rewarded with for just a little bit of travel are totally worth it! We all arrived at the alpine lake on a warm July afternoon with a few clouds hanging around in the sky to mellow out the sun’s harsh rays. Mt. Rainier herself was mostly obscured by clouds, but it didn’t matter. The environment is gorgeous up here no matter what the weather is doing.

The whole fam hiked around to the far side of the lake for an intimate wedding ceremony in the heart of Mt. Rainier National Park. Although we couldn’t quite see the whole mountain, we could still see the bulk of massive Mt. Rainier rising up behind the lake, with a scenic range of jagged mountain peaks running in front of it. All of the Cascade mountain range in Washington has scenic views, but this is easily one of the most iconic. It was so cool that Tiffany and Kyle could get their closest family to all come out from across the country to witness this incredible place for the first time with them.
A COZY CATERED WEDDING PICNIC AT A MT. RAINIER CAMPGROUND
When the ceremony was over, we all drove to a nearby campground where their amazing wedding planner, Katy Warner of Seattle Stunning Events, had prepared a gorgeous table spread for their catered meal. The Custom Plate was out there with fresh made spaghetti and other goodies to serve up. It was all delicious. Trust us, we ate a lot 😉 It’s so cool that more and more chefs and catering companies are making their services available to couple doing adventure elopements and intimate weddings. Everyone at the wedding loved hanging out at this casual and cozy picnic shelter, laughing, eating, and sharing stories with the newlyweds.

After dinner was finished, we took off with Tiffany and Kyle for a little sunset adventure in Mt. Rainier National Park. We love this time to explore with just the couple, taking photos during the best light and just having fun romping around and exploring. Tiffany and Kyle said it was one of the favorite parts of their day too! It was the perfect way to wrap up this amazing Mt. Rainier wedding.
