Gold Creek Pond Elopement
Brooke and Justin came all the way from Georgia to Washington for their elopement. They reached out to us in October putting full trust in us to find the right location for their elopement with one requirement; there had to be snow. We told them that December in Washington would be perfect, there’d be no shortage of snow. A few weeks later the snow started coming down in the mountains so we went up to Snoqualmie Pass to scout out a few spots. After checking out Gold Creek Pond for our first time, we knew it’d be the perfect location for Brooke and Justin’s elopement.

Brook and Justin planned out their elopement perfectly with a handful of fun details. They brought a portable record player to play a record for their first dance, a polaroid camera for fun snapshots of the day, a bottle of champagne to pop right after they ceremony, and bio-degradable confetti! The champagne bottle cork may have frozen to the bottle and the record player may have been too cold to turn at the right speed, but luckily they brought a mini screw-top champagne bottle and we had a portable speaker for the first dance, so it all worked out just fine 😉
Erika of the Greatest Adventure Weddings officiated their ceremony and made Brooke’s incredible burgundy bouquet to match her burgundy thigh high boots. And their parents and Justin’s sister all flew out from Georgia to join them for their snowy elopement! It’s always great when you can share such a beautiful place and special moment with those most important in your life. It was a perfect day filled with a lot of heart and happiness.
