Olympic National Park Mountain Engagement

This camping Olympic National Park Mountain engagement session in Washington was perfect for both sunset and sunrise. The haze from nearby forest fires make for some pretty crazy light!

Olympic National Park Mountain Engagement

Mikayla and Tanner first reached out to us a to capture their Redwood National Forest elopement about a year in advance. After hearing all about the intimate ceremony they envisioned amongst an old growth forest, we were so excited to capture their elopement. But it was over a year out and we wanted to hang out with these two before the big day. When they heard we were traveling through Olympic National Park, they took a trip up from Portland to meet us for camping and an engagement session.

The haze from forrest fires in BC had drifted over and covered the sky, so unfortunately, it was impossible to see the Olympics the day we were there with Makayla and Tanner. It did, however, make for killer light during our sunset and sun rise sessions with them!

The Foxes are Brandon and Gabi Fox, an adventurous husband and wife elopement photography team living and traveling in their DIY renovated 1972 Airstream. They are loosely based in the Pacific Northwest, but travel for work and play throughout the western states and beyond. Their work is best described as candid photography that captures couples as they are, where they are, blending images of love and natural beauty in the great outdoors. Wherever there are mountains, you’ll find The Foxes.
