Stunning November Wedding in Zion National Park
Fall weddings in the desert are just the best! The weather is perfect, the crowds are few and far between, and we even get to see some fall colors sprinkled throughout the park. These two spent the whole day exploring slot canyons, public land, and of course, Zion Canyon while getting to share some of their day with family. We met just before sunrise and hiked out to a slot canyon where S and D shared private vows and got to enjoy each other’s time before meeting up with the fam in the afternoon. Spending the morning exploring the slot canyon was the best time; we didn’t see a single soul the whole time, and it was amazing watching the rock turn more pink as the sun crept higher into the sky. After reading private vows, we took a break for the day and met back up in the afternoon for their ceremony with all their guests, which included immediate family. This has become one of my favorite spots to shoot at because, again, it’s pretty empty, and it’s only minutes outside of the park entrance. The groom’s dad officiated a short but sweet ceremony that had everyone not only laughing but also a little choked up. After the ceremony, we said our goodbyes to the fam and headed into the park for those classic Zion views! We hiked out, but this trail is so beautiful that you can’t help but snap some photos along the way, and finally, ended with the most stunning view of Zion Canyon. The colors are just unreal to the point where I think it looks like a painting. We watched the sun set behind the canyon as we wrapped up photos for the day, and all I have to say is holy cow, I will never get tired of this amazing view. After we were done shooting, S and D ended up having a catered meal back at their Airbnb with all their family to really soak in the fact that they were married and celebrate with everyone!
