We want tell the full story of your day through an album of stunning images, from sunset portraits against an epic landscape to wild dance party photos with your oldest friends. Wherever your wedding is, from the PNW coast to the SW desert, we’ll help you remember the adventure.
Before we take any photos, we just want to hang out and get to know you both. Whether it’s over a Skype call or a craft beer, we love hearing about the adventures you two have been on together and what you love about each other. We’ll keep in touch during the months leading up to your wedding, too. Some of the things we help with are putting together a photo timeline so things run smoothly the day of, brainstorming fun photo ops, and assisting with wedding planning however we can help. By the time the wedding rolls around, we’ll feel more like friends at your wedding than “the photographers.”
We specialize in heartfelt weddings that embrace the great outdoors. Our couples share our passion for nature and adventure, and that’s usually reflected in their venue choice. We love photographing ceremonies in beautiful landscapes and parties that go late into the night under a starry sky. While other photographers are better suited for ballrooms and churches, we’re more at home in campgrounds and lodges. And if you’re getting married in a remote place, far away from the city, we’re all about making that extra effort to get there.
When we’re photographing, we stay far away from that posed and awkward stuff. Although you might be nervous or hesitant about being in front of the camera, we’ll make sure you feel comfortable. We give gentle directions to help you into beautiful, natural poses without actually “posing.” Similarly, when at weddings we take a creative photojournalistic approach. We’re always on the lookout for fun moments to capture, and might come up with ideas on the fly to help stage a great photo. Our editing style is inspired by a timeless film look, with punchy colors and contrast but not too dramatic. We want our photos to stand the test of time, so that years down the road you can relive this day and fall in love all over again.
