We can never get enough of van life couple sessions. Taking pictures of couples hanging out in the van they built together is pretty awesome. Plus, we get to nerd out about rig builds.

Van Life Couple Goals Right Here
These two have one of the best vans we’ve seen. It’s still a work in progress, but the bones are good and we can tell it’s gonna be rad. We even found ourselves talking about getting a van of our own someday. Look at me, starting off talking about the van instead of this gorgeous couple. Clearly, we’re rig heads. I wasn’t joking when I said we nerded out about rigs with these guys. Max literally got on the roof of our Airstream to check out our solar setup.
These guys actually aren’t living on the road full time yet. Emphasis on yet. But you really wouldn’t know it if you heard how many miles they’ve put down in this baby so far, or how many nights they’ve spent snuggling inside the mostly insulated walls. They’ve been working hard to build this thing out so they can do a whole lot more traveling after their upcoming wedding. We got to see their progress so far and were thoroughly impressed. In a small space like a van or Airstream, layout is everything. These guys built the bones of a super functional van with great storage, living area, and two amazing custom windows that make all the difference.
We had a blast capturing some pics of these two playing around in the van, and on top of it. Fun fact: Max has been going barefoot for the most part for the last six years, and Aileen is part of the barefoot movement now too. So obviously we got some feet shots, cause these aren’t ordinary feet. I’m not saying they could walk on a cactus, but their calluses are probably tougher than my flip flops. After the van life session, we all loaded up in their van and drove into Valley of Fire State Park for a sunset adventure session, which you should definitely also check out. Turns out these two are basically professional models too, despite their cries of “we’re so awkward!” Yeah right, you guys killed it. Can’t wait to meet up for more adventures down the road!
